Bishop Allen J. Babcock Council #7341 with the efforts of the Council of Catholic Women, held a coat drive with donations from the parishioners of Holy Family. Altogether, 90 coats were distributed to the kids in need in the Caledonia and Middleville area.
Father George Ging Council #6824 is dedicated to serving St. Anne Catholic Church in Ortonville, MI where Father Yongli (John) Chen, is assigned. One of the ways the council raises funds for charity is through a year-long wood-cutting program. It's a great way to give back to the community while also enjoying the great outdoors.
On the morning of October 14th, Father John blessed the woodlot with a moving ceremony, and then blessed the equipment and structures with Holy Water. It was a beautiful experience. A special thank you to Father John and all the Brother Knights who work tirelessly at the woodlot. Your dedication is truly inspiring.
Father John is an active member of Council 6824 and recently became a 4th Degree Sir Knight!
