Those that know me know that I'm a die-hard Detroit Lions fan. I know I drink the Kool-Aid every year. But last year it was more of a Honolulu blue and silver cocktail. I've been a season ticket holder since 2011 and last season at every game the atmosphere at Ford Field was amazing. I definitely look forward to more of it this year.
With that being said, we have organized a Knights of Columbus Fraternal Day at Ford Field. It will be the game on September 24, 2023, Detroit Lions versus Atlanta Falcons.
Tickets are $100.00 each, click HERE for the order form.
Checks made out to Michigan State Council. Order form and checks come to me directly. Please do not send to the state office. Any questions please contact me.

On Sunday, August 20th, the Brother Knights of St. Augustine Cathedral Council #15439, in collaboration with the St. Augustine Cathedral School, hosted the annual parish picnic at the parish in Kalamazoo. It was a beautiful day filled with delicious food, thrilling lawn bouncers, exciting games of bingo, and countless hours of fellowship for all the parishioners to enjoy
This year's picnic was extra special as everyone celebrated the 102nd birthday of Brother Knight Bob Johnson from Bishop Alfred J. Markiewicz Council #1616. Brother Bob received heartfelt congratulations from Bishop Edward Lohse, who was recently ordained in the Kalamazoo Diocese, as well as from Diocesan Chaplain and Cathedral Rector, Father Bob Creagon.
At 102 years young, Brother Bob holds the distinction of being the longest-serving member of the Michigan Knights of Columbus, with an impressive 84 years of faithful service to the Order. Furthermore, he is one of the oldest living World War II Naval veterans
The celebration was attended by clergy
members, parish family friends, and well-
wishers.
As Brother Knights, we are truly honored to
have such an exceptional individual among our
Michigan ranks. Thank you, Brother Bob Johnson, you are an inspiration to us all!
Additionally, local TV news channel WWMT was present at the event, capturing this joyous occaslon. See the television coverage here
