St. Stanislaus Kosta Council #12423 recently presented a $1,500 check to Karleigh Zmikly of Sanford, who suffered severe burns in an accident in April, 2022.
The ORV that Karleigh was riding with her boyfriend Carter overturned and caught fire, trapping them in the wreckage. Friends were able to free Karleigh, despite suffering burns themselves during the rescue. She was hospitalized for several months, and has endured 15 different surgeries so far, with more to come, yet her recovery so far has been remarkable!
Karleigh’s family also suffered losses in the 2020 Midland area dam failures , yet through it all their faith remains strong.
From lft to rt - Brother Gene Cianek (FS), Karleigh Zmikly, Michele Zmikly (Mom), Brother Kevin Britton
Council #12423 is proud to stand in Unity with Karleigh and her family as she continues her recovery. We thank the parishioners of Our Lady of Czestochowa and our patrons, whose support of our fundraisers enables our charitable work!

11756 Family Rosary

Family Rosary Program
On Sunday, January 29th, our council led the parish in praying the Rosary following the 9:00 am Mass. Approximately 36 Knights, family members and parishioners joined in praying the Rosary.
Years ago Supreme asked the councils to lead a Rosary after or before Mass on the Fifth Sunday’s of the year.
To further promote devotion to the rosary in our families, the name was changed to the Family Rosary Program and continues on the fifth Sundays.
The Rosary is long tradition in Knight of Columbus and our council will continue to lead this at our parish on those months having five Sundays.
