The 31st annual Detroit Archdiocesan Vocations League Dinner on Sunday, April 14th at Zuccaro's Banquet Center in Chesterfield Township. Join us for a delicious Polish dinner and more as we gather to support a worthy cause. Our esteemed guest speaker for the evening will be Most Reverend Jeffrey Monfortin, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
All proceeds from the event will go towards funding scholarships for seminarians and postulants. Your attendance and support are greatly appreciated as we come together to support the future leaders of our faith.

Worthies, please remember to submit your nomination applications for the State Blessed Michael McGivney Award (Council Chaplain of the Year).
This prestigious award honors a Knights of Columbus chaplain who embodies priestly zeal and exemplary service in alignment with the values of our founder. The ideal recipient will be recognized as a teacher of the faith, an apostle of Christian family life, a dedicated parish priest, a model of charity, a promoter of Catholic fraternity, and a role model within your parish community.
We encourage all councils to fill out the nomination application and showcase the dedication of their chaplains in serving their parishioners and the Knights of Columbus.

CATHOLIC CITIZENSHIP ESSAY CONTEST
STATE WINNERS
The judging is finished and we have the winners of the 2023-2024 Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest winners for the jurisdiction of Michigan.
The theme this year was meaningful to the Church and all youth: ‘How can the Church evangelize in the digital
age?’.
From across the state, over 40 essays were submitted from youth, grades 8 through 12, and judged on content, grammar, and style. Judging was done by high school level teachers.
The winners are:

2024 Bowling Tournament is underway

The Michigan State Council Bowling Association and Richard Council #788, commenced the 82nd Annual Michigan Knights of Columbus State Bowing Tournament in Lansing at Royal Scot Bowl and Golf. This weekend was the State Officers' Tournament and included the Opening Ceremonies of the Bowling Tournament to kick off the long running tradition here in Michigan.
Congratulations to the 2024 Tournament Honoree Micheal Kozakiewicz!
The regular open tournament begins February 24/25 through March 23/24.

Aid & Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) Top Rankings

Below are the Order wide top rankings for the Aid & Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) through the end of January 2024. For the second year since the beginning of the ASAP program, the Michigan jurisdiction remains a leader in both applications and donations.
Aid and Support After Pregnancy is a featured program to support pregnant women, mothers, and their children, both born and unborn, by serving pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes. Through ASAP, for every $500 a council or assembly donates to a qualifying non-profit pregnancy resource center or maternity home (up to $2,000), the Supreme Council will issue a $100 grant to the same qualifying organization.
Thank you to all councils and assemblies that have made donations to local pregnancy centers and maturity homes. For other councils or assemblies, take the opportunity to donate and build a relationship that at the heart is defending the life of the unborn.
