On November 18th, Monroe Knights of Columbus Council #1266 held another successful Coats for Kids Drive. Nearly 300 brand new warm winter coats were distributed to the families of our community.

On November 13, I traveled to St. Christopher Catholic Church in Marysville for an awards presentation during the business meeting for Marysville Council #9526.

 

District Deputy 103 David Kelley II presented Grand Knight Scott Heim with both the Columbian and Founders Awards for the 2022/2023 Fraternal Year.

 

I presented DD Kelley with the Star District Award for 2022/2023.

Congratulations to DD Kelley, Council 9526, and the other Councils of District 103!

On Tuesday, November 14th, Holy Family Council #11811 in Novi conducted an Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. Four new members were exemplified as 3rd Degree Brother Knights; one from St. Fabian Council 13362 (Farmington Hills) and three from Holy Family Council 11811.

On Thursday November 9th, District Deputy #306 John Veneklase presented the 2022/2023 Double Star Council award to Deputy Grand Knight Tom Van Northwick of St Sebastian Council #14642 in Byron Center, MI.

 

Soon afterward, SDRR Marty Brown presented the 2022/2023 Star District Award to District Deputy John Veneklase.
