A small council making a big impact in a small community.
Recently Holy Redeemer Council #16092 in Vanderbilt distributed funding from the Tootsie Roll drive to the Vanderbilt Area School's Title 1 program.

Happy Birthday Fr. Ted

Knights of Columbus Bishop Haas Council #4362 along with family members of Father Theodore J Kozlowski hosted a 90th birthday party for him on March 12th.
With family and council members there was about 70 in attendance. Family members came as far away as Texas.
Father Ted has been the Chaplain of our Council for 27 plus years, leading the council in its spiritual needs. And he continues to serve as the pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Grand Rapids.

The council most recently did some remodeling and purchased some new furniture, a new lift type recliner and sofa and tables. New taller toilets were installed, and his bedroom brought to the main level of the rectory. Father Ted is a very modest priest he doesn't ask for a lot.
Father was presented with a certificate of Appreciation for his years of service to His Church and Council.
