He was inducted into the Fordham Football Hall of Fame and has played rugby for the New York Athletic Club for 30 years

Leader should also learn how to develop a simple, specific, year-round plan in place for growing council membership, that involves participation from the whole council.
Attendees should commit to work with their pastor(s), field agent, and DD to accomplish their goals.
Leaders should understand the importance of hosting regular ceremonials, incorporating recruitment into every event, and running membership drives

Recently, State Treasurer Barry Borsenik posted an article commemorating a Mass for the 75th Anniversary of Dexter Council #2959.
We are very fortunate to have a video of Fr. Brendan Walsh and his offering of the Holy Trinity Sunday homily to the 75th Anniversary of Dexter Council's Knights of Columbus.
This is a must-see homily showing Fr. Brendan’s support of his council at a milestone anniversary and ties in the gospel message of Holy Trinity Sunday. It should be an encouragement for all councils to serve our priests, parishes and communities to the best of our abilities.

75th Anniversary Council 2959

This past weekend State Treasurer Barry Borsenik and wife Mandy attended the 75th anniversary Mass of Dexter Council #2959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter.
The elderly gentleman is Joseph Zabinsky (93 years old). He was honored as a charter member of the council 75 years ago.
Congratulations Council 2959!

Cardinal Burke to Michigan

Padre Pio project in Genoa Twp. brings Cardinal Burke to Michigan. During the Cardinals visit SD Walter Winkle and GK of Council 7891 Ken Neal had the opportunity to share lunch with His Eminence and receive his blessing.
The project involves Catholic Healthcare International and now the American Freedom Law Center. Read more HERE.
Council 7891 will be donating the proceeds from their drive-in Movie nights to the project.
