Council 11957 Installation of Officers

On August 25th, 2019 St. Therese of Lisieux Parish held a Corporate Communication and Installation of Officers ceremony for Knights of Columbus Council 11957. This ceremony was followed by a lucheon in the Social Hall for the Knights and their spouses. At this luncheon, several presentations were made:


1. John Lamanna, past Grand Knight, presented a check for $500 to MDA in honor of Evan's All Stars, an association named after his grandson who has muscular dystrophy. The money was donated by the Council at John's request instead of presenting him with the ceremonial watch normally given to outgoing Grand Knights.


2. Msgr. John Kasza was presented his Knights of Columbus pin by Rick Fisher, current Grand Knight.


3. The Van Slembrouck family was presented a certificate for Family of the Year by John Lamanna.


4. John Lamanna also presented Hank Losinki with a certificate for being the June Knight of the Month.


5. Paul Bieber was presented the July Knight of the Month certificate by Rick Fisher.


6. John Lamanna received a Certificate of Appreciation for his service the past two years as Grand Knight.


7. Rick Fisher received the Knight of the Year Award in recognition for filling in as Treasurer after the Treasurer passed away in November as well as fulfilling his duties as Deputy Grand Knight, Membership Director, and Public Relations Director. He also spoke at the membership drive which produced six new members.
