By: Charles E. McCuen - Thu, Jul 10, 2025 6:13 PM

My Brothers,

The time is drawing near for our 2026 We are One Golf outing to support the Installation of the State Leadership. This is our last outing and it would be great to go out with a bang! As I said at the Summer Leadership Conference I would love to see all of our Districts and Councils represented  with a Tee sign on the entire course. I have attached the fillable flier for you so you can just click on it then click the "Go to" link and fill it out with your payment and send it off. No fuss no muss. You still have a little time to go so don't delay. I hope to see you all soon.

Gaylord Councils hold Awareness Mass!

By: Michael Szukhent - Thu, Jul 10, 2025 6:01 PM

On June 29, 2025 the Diocese of Gaylord, in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus, held its inaugural Awareness Mass at St. Mary Cathedral in Gaylord.

More than 100 individuals from across the diocese attended. With dim lights and calming music, the sensory-friendly Mass provided full liturgical ministries participation for those living with a mental illness, physical or intellectual disability. After Mass, guests enjoyed light snacks and fellowship.

Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to make this day possible.

By: John Bursch - Sun, Jul 6, 2025 12:43 PM

Knights in Action in Charlevoix!

By: Matt Hoxsie - Fri, Jul 4, 2025 9:58 AM

Almost two weeks ago The Charlevoix Marathon happened in Charlevoix. Many local service groups help work the aid stations along the route, fueling and cheering on the runners.  Charlevoix's Grand Knight Don Jasurda and members of Council #7172 Charlevoix St. Mary's participated for the 1st time this year. They passed out water and Powerade, plus cheered everyone on with smiles on their faces! We all battled rain, wind and hail to help over 2,000 runners cross the finish line!

Dad Talk - June 29, 2025 - The Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul

By: John Bursch - Sun, Jun 29, 2025 6:22 AM

Today is a special day because the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul - always celebrated on June 29 - displaces the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The readings teach us much about these two Saints and also about the Church. We'll cover a lot of ground in today's Dad Talk:

Fifty years strong and our work's not done - Council 6694

By: Matt Hoxsie - Sat, Jun 28, 2025 2:48 PM

Swartz Creek Council 6694 held our annual Ladies / Clergy Dinner on Monday, June 23rd. The annual celebration is a means to express our council's appreciation of both our ladies and our clergy for their unwavering support of us in the work that we do. This year, we took this opportunity to celebrate by acknowledging our council's 50th anniversary as well, with our date of formation being May 18th, 1975. To our delight, joining us in this celebration were Worthy State Deputy Barry Borsenik and his wife, Lady Mandy, and Worthy State Advocate Dan Fuller and his wife, Lady Kara. We are most appreciative of their attendance, interest, and support of our council.

Pictured Worthy State Deputy Barry Borsenik presents a plaque in recognition of Swartz Creek Council 6694's 50 years of service to Grand Knight Lance Wildman.
