On July 9th, St. Paul of Tarsus Council 11689 welcome four new Brother Knights into their Council!
Au Lac Council 10724 supports Parish Perch Festival in Ira Township

Between July 31st and August 2nd, Au Lac Council 10724 supported the Immaculate Conception Parish Perch Festival in Ira Township. Everyone had a great time, especially at the K of C Dunk Tank, and the Council was able to use the Banner and Tablecloth that they were rewarded with during the last Fraternal year to set up a Membership and Recruiting table at the festival.
Heart of the Gospel Retreat - Saturday August 29th - Waterford - Updated with Registration

When you hear the name Jesus, what comes to mind — gentle and kind, or triumphant and unconquerable? Heart of the Gospel reveals both: Jesus as compassionate healer and mighty warrior who battles sin, Satan, and death itself to rescue the one he loves: YOU!
We start at 6:30am with a delicious breakfast and introduction to the topics for the day. We'll cover 3 topics in the morning before lunch with time in between for Lection Divina, group discussions, and short breaks. After lunch, we have a very special topic to prepare us for a guided holy hour of quiet reflection in the church. Upon returning from the holy hour, light snacks will be provided as we begin the final topic video and discussion. Everything wraps up in time for the regular 5 PM mass at Our Lady of the Lakes.

Anchor Bay Council 5981 Officers are installed with Dinner and Fraternity

On July 23rd, District Deputy Matt Hoxsie installed the Officers of Anchor Bay Council 5981 for the 2026-2027 Fraternal Year. The Council Officers Installation was held at Little Camille's by the Green in Casco, MI. District Deputy Matt dedicated the Installation to the memories of two Past Grand Knights of Anchor Bay Council, FDD/PGK Ken Krause and PGK Mike Demarais. 
After the Installation, the Officers and their Ladies enjoyed some fraternity together with a dinner and conversation.
Anchor Bay Council 5981 members represent well at RSVP Charity Golf Outing!

On July 23rd, Anchor Bay Council 5981 held its annual Chairity Golf Outing where all proceeds go to benefit Seminarians and Postulates. Brothers and Ladies represented themselves and the Order well at the Golf Outing while having a great time! Each year, the Golf Outing funds the Council's RSVP efforts.
St. Mary’s Visitation - Fr. Anselm Weber Council 17232 welcomes 3 Brothers!

St Mary Visitation- Fr. Anslem Weber Council 17232 held an Exemplification on Sunday, July 26th after the 11AM Mass.
Three new brothers joined the Order: Eli Baldwin, John Stein, and Jacob Myers.

Lansing Region holds a Multi-District Meeting

Brother Knights from five Lansing-area districts met at St. Thomas Aquinas in East Lansing on July 29th to learn more about the Supreme and State initiatives for the new fraternal year.
Districts 507, 508, 510, 515 and 517 gathered to hear from State Deputy Charlie McCuen as well as Diocesan and State Directors.

Our Lady on the River Council 856 holds Recruiting Drive across THREE Worship Sites!

Our Lady on the River Council 856 hosted a Membership & Recruiting Drive this weekend across THREE different worship sites at Algonac, Harsens Island, and Marine City. Brothers in the Council attended all three masses to recruit additional Prospects into the Order. Worthy GK Jason Borys made announcements encouraging all of the men in the parish to join and Fr. John Dumas reiterated that he would like to see every man in the parish join the Council. After the masses, the Council hosted hospitality for all parish members.Worthy Supreme Field Agent Don Wesley, Diocesan Membership Directory Wally Papciak, and District Deputy Matt Hoxsie all assisted with the Council's recruiting efforts across the five masses over the two day period.
Dad Talk - Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle A)

This week's first reading from Isaiah and Gospel reading from Matthew emphasize the abundant life and gifts we receive when we heed and rely on God. But our second reading from Paul's letter to the Romans is even more challenging, exhorting us to love and trust God through our suffering. We'll discuss what that means — and the difference between Matthew's passages about the feeding of the 5,000 versus the feeding of the 4,000 — in this week's Dad Talk.
