D.C. March for Life Bus Trips

The March for Life in Washington, D.C., began as a small demonstration following the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision and rapidly grew to be the largest prolife event in the world. Help make the 2022 March for Life on January 21 the best attended yet. March side-by-side with the hundreds of thousands of Americans taking a stand for the most vulnerable members of our human family. Join Michigan prolife groups on a bus trip to Washington, D.C. Bring your youth, your youthful enthusiasm and your passion for life.

Groups outside of Michigan: please check with your state Right to Life office for information on March for Life trips planned in your state.

Grand Rapids Right to Life
Grand Rapids Right to Life’s bus trip has multiple options; attendees are able to design a trip that fits their schedule regarding length of trip, day or night travel, as well as choice of hotel. Metro Detroit Right to Life affiliates
Upper Downriver, Southern Downriver, and Central Wayne Count Right to Life affiliates are hosting a joint red-eye bus trip. The trip departs from Trenton at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, and returns on Saturday, January 22, at 6 a.m. The trip cost is $130 for adults and $65 for young adults: full payment is due on December 31. Sanilac County Right to Life & St. Clair County Right to Life
Sanilac County and St. Clair County Right to Life’s joint bus trip is leaving from Emmet at 6 a.m. on Thursday, January 20. Their trip departs Washington, D.C., at 6 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, and will arrive back at Emmet at 6 p.m. Rates run from $195 per person to $425 per person depending on the number of occupants desired in your hotel room. Bishop for Gaylord

He succeeds Bishop Steven J. Raica, who was Gaylord's bishop from 2014 until 2020 when he was installed to head the Diocese of Birmingham, Alabama. Since June 2020, Bishop Walter A. Hurley, the retired bishop of Grand Rapids, Michigan, has served as apostolic administrator of the Gaylord Diocese.

Wreaths Across America Dearborn

On Saturday December 18th, Michigan State Deputy Walter Winkle, State Chaplain Fr Paul Ballien, State Advocate Charles McCuen, along with members of the 4th Degree Color Corps participated in the annual Wreaths Across America event. This event honors our nation’s fallen war veterans at St Hedwig Cemetery & Mausoleum in Dearborn Heights.
