Knight of the Month, September:  Dan Gibbons.

Dan, who stepped into the role of District Deputy, responsible for our council and three others (those at St. Thomas and St. Francis in Ann Arbor, and St. Andrew in Saline).  His presence is required at multiple meetings and other activities each month for his District's councils.  He has been sharing the vision of the Supreme Council for the growth of KofC support for each local parish's role in the New Evangelization.  Dan's heart for service is shown by his all-day serving at the recent Made for Happiness rally in East Lansing.

Family of the Month, September:  The John & Joyce Yurko Family.

John has been taking the role of adult server at some of our Sunday Masses; their sons have each also been altar servers.  Joyce, over the last several years, has shared her love of and knowledge of Scripture by teaching classes at several Catholic educational institutions.  Their son Justin has entered the discernment and undergraduate education process at St. John Vianney Seminary.
