Assembly 3102 Vets Ice Cream Social

Bishop Kevin M Britt Fourth Degree Assembly #3102 of Holy Redeemer Parish in Jenison held an Ice Cream Social on Saturday May 27th at the Grand Rapids Veterans home.

Ten members plus two wives helped serve over forty veterans as well as filled bowls of ice cream for vets in the closed wards.

It was a wonderful afternoon of service to our Veterans.

7487 Donation to Disabled Vets Program

Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Council #7487 held their council’s annual Wild Game Dinner fund raising event on Saturday evening February 4, 2023. The donation to the Hunt Club, as well as other charities, is made possible with the proceeds from the event.

The donation was for over $7,400.00 and will provide funding for Veterans using the facility.

 

The Hunt Club sponsors safe and escorted hunting experiences for Disabled Veterans. Trap and Skeet shooting is also available to the Vets.

Council 7487 donation to Harmony Homes

The date of the donation was Monday April 10th. The check was over $7,400.00 which were funds of the proceeds from our council’s Wild Game Dinner held on Friday February 3rd. 

Harmony homes is an organization that provides quality, Christian housing and assistance to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This particular home is in a residential area in Georgetown township.

7487 ASAP Checks Presented

Members from Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Council 7487 and Kevin Britt Assembly 3102, both of Jenison, presented 2 ASAP Grants to HELP Pregnancy Aid in Grand Rapids on Tuesday February 28th..

Both maxed out with $2,000.00 donations earlier in the year. Supreme ASAP checks of $400.00 from each were presented.

The earlier donations were made with funds from various events throughout the year.

With the Expanding Our Possibilities Capital Campaign in progress the money is greatly appreciated.

Council 7487 Donation to HELP Pregnancy Aid

Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Council 7487 in Jenison presented a check to HELP Pregnancy Aid in the amount of $2,000.00. The money was raised at a recent can drive at Holy Redeemer Parish and will be used in the Expanding Our Possibilities capital campaign.
