On December 11th, Swartz Creek Council 6694 combined two cherished events into one memorable evening by merging their Pete Glynn Memorial 52 Club Raffle with their Jim Drummond Memorial Family Fun Fundraiser. The event featured the "52 Club Raffle," a silent auction, basket raffles, Detroit Lions Jersey raffles, two 50/50 raffles, and included pizza, salad, and soft drinks for everyone to enjoy.
The evening was a great success for both initiatives. The "52 Club Raffle" raised $4267 to support our Seminarians and other council-approved charities, while the "Family Fun Fundraiser" collected $7785 for the home Diocese of the council's parish priest (and Brother Knight), Father Louis Ekka. The Diocese, located in Gumla, India, includes thirty-nine parishes and schools that will benefit from this support. Swartz Creek Council 6694 is deeply grateful to their parish family, friends, and everyone who generously supported this endeavor.
