MICHIGAN SPECIAL OLYMPICS WINTER GAMES HELD IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN
From now until February 2nd, the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resorts, and Howe Ice Arena at the Grand Traverse Civic Center are buzzing with energy and excitement. These venues are hosting a variety of thrilling winter sports, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, and figure skating. Over 1,500 competitors, coaches, and volunteers are coming together for this special occasion.
Special Olympics Michigan State Winter Games have a long and proud history, and this year marks their 45th anniversary and is turning out to be memorable one for the over 1,500 competitors, coaches, and volunteers coming together for this special occasion.
As the athletes say "Let me win, but if cannot not win, let me be brave in the attempt."
