Join the State Council Local Council Fundraisers & Program Promotion Group

The Michigan State Council has created a dedicated Facebook group to help councils better promote their local fundraisers and Faith in Action programs across the state.

This group serves as a central hub where Grand Knights, Program Directors, District Deputies, and members can:
- Share upcoming council fundraisers (fish fries, golf outings, raffles, breakfasts, etc.)
- Promote Faith in Action programs and special events
- Exchange successful ideas and best practices
- Increase visibility and participation for local efforts
- Support brother councils by spreading the word
By posting your events in one place, councils can reach a wider audience of Knights and families who may be willing to travel, support, or participate. It also helps State leadership stay informed about the excellent work happening at the local level.
We encourage every council to:
- Have at least one officer or program director join the group.
- Regularly post flyers, details, and results from your fundraisers and programs.
- Engage with other councils’ posts by liking, commenting, and sharing.
Strong local promotion strengthens the entire jurisdiction. When councils support one another’s efforts, we raise more funds for charity, attract more men to the Order, and live out our principles of charity, unity, and fraternity more effectively.
