Important Information Regarding Michigan's 2025 State Convention

2025 STATE CONVENTION
The 2025 Annual State Convention of the Michigan State Council Knights of Columbus will convene at the Grand Hotel on beautiful Mackinac Island on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 21st , May 22nd, and May 23rd, 2025.
Please be advised that the Convention Delegates and Alternates are to be elected at a regularly scheduled business meeting conducted during the month of February. Immediately after the election the FORM #4 Convention Delegate Certification which can be found on the Michigan State Council website www.mikofc.org (click on Resources>Forms>Council Forms) is to be completed and returned to the State Office. Form #4 is a fillable form, follow the instructions on how to use it. It is essential that you include your email address on this form. Your email address will be used for future mailings, including your Hotel Reservation Form. In addition, a copy of Form 4 will be emailed to each Grand Knight and Financial Secretary in the State that uses the State Council email system. Please be sure this form is returned to the State Office no later than March 15, 2025.
Section 12 (a) of the Supreme Council By-Laws provides for the election of delegates to the State Council meeting. Please refer to it and adhere to its requirements.
Room reservation forms will be forwarded as soon as we have the names and addresses of your delegates. Your cooperation in this regard will assist your Convention Committee to start preparations for your convention immediately. Room reservation forms will need to be submitted via email to c.wasmund@mikofc.org no later than March 31, 2025. This deadline is earlier this year due to changes made by the hotels.
Also, please be aware that the Laws of the State Council provide that subordinate Councils in arrears to the State Council or Supreme Council for duly levied assessments shall not have the names of their delegates placed on the roll of the State Council until such accounts are paid in full.
