Free Throw Competition News from the Marquette Diocese

The Knights of Columbus in the Marquette Diocese successfully concluded their 2024 Diocesan Free Throw competition on March 10th at Negaunee Middle School. Contestants from various locations across the Upper Peninsula, who had previously emerged victorious at both the council and district levels, participated in the event. Each winner in their respective age categories attempted 25 free throws, with the results recorded and submitted for the State competition on March 17th in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
We are delighted to announce that two of our diocesan athletes emerged as State Champions! Blake Sullivan from Ishpeming, representing Council 1541 Ishpeming, and Aubrie Moore from Council 1585 Kingsford/Iron Mountain, both secured victory in their respective categories.
