On Saturday, May 16th, Divine Mercy Assembly #3082 proudly hosted a special picnic for the veterans at Vets Returning Home in Roseville, Michigan.

The event was a resounding success and a truly heartwarming experience for every veteran in attendance as well as all the Sir Knights and Ladies who volunteered their time and support. It was a proud day for our Assembly as we came together in the true spirit of charity and fraternity.

A big thank you to everyone who represented Divine Mercy #3082 that day — your presence made a real difference.

Special recognition goes to our project chairman, SK Ed Bahoura, who expertly handled the shopping, menu planning, and kitchen coordination. Thanks to his leadership and the outstanding teamwork and communication with volunteers, the entire day ran smoothly and efficiently.

We also want to thank all the generous members who purchased drinks, cooked and baked food, and brought desserts. Your contributions helped us stay well within budget and will allow us to continue these meaningful outreach projects for our veterans in the future.

Fourteen dedicated volunteers worked the picnic and spent quality time socializing with the veterans. Many heartfelt stories were shared, and new friendships were formed throughout the day.

Inspired by the success of this event, we hope to expand this outreach into multiple visits per year so we can do even more to honor and support our military heroes here in Michigan.

Thank you to every brother and sister who helped make this day possible. Your service truly exemplifies what it means to be a Knight of Columbus!

God bless you and your families.
