COR Meeting Information

From The State Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation:
This past week I had the opportunity to have a "Teams Meeting" with Sean Pott, Supreme Office Director of Evangelization and Education. The meeting was a chance to review the progress of the Michigan Jurisdiction regarding "The Cor Meeting" Sean was very complimentary regarding our efforts and progress.
I would like to report that Michigan Councils are beginning to respond, and as your State Director, I am glad to share with you that not only is Michigan responding, but in many ways we are ahead of the curve of expectations. I remind you that the "COR Meeting" initiative should start small, and progress, I have been advised that the Blessed McGivney Retreat that I have mentioned is still in development. Consider the following:
Prayer: Five Forms of Prayer- Blessing and Adoration, Prayer of Petition, Prayer of Intercession, Prayer of Thanksgiving, Prayer of Praise
Formation: Faith-inspired talks by Clergy or others, reading a spiritual reflection, Into the Breach Video Series, Supreme Chaplain's monthly Challenge, Bible Study and Small Group Discussion.
Fraternity: Social Events, BBQ, Bonfire, intentional Conversation and shared meals i.e. donuts and coffee, or pizza and beverages.
