Build a Bed – No Child Sleeps on the Floor

This year, we have a new State and Supreme program: Build a Bed. This program is designed to help ensure that No Child Sleeps on the Floor.

We are partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to providing beds for children who do not have a proper place to sleep. You can find a local chapter at https://shpbeds.org/.

For more information about the Michigan Knights of Columbus Build a Bed program, please visit the State website and review the Build a Bed Program Plan 26.0.

For Councils interested in learning more about the program, Catholic Charities of Southeastern Michigan is conducting a bed-building event on October 10, 2026, at the Center for the Works of Mercy in Detroit.
