Seven Brother Knights from Au Lac Council 10724 in Ira Township met on Saturday, July 11 and completed their Adopt A Highway 2026 Summer Cleanup. A total of 8 bags of trash were collected along a two mile stretch of M29 by Immaculate Conception Church. 

 

The Au Lac Council has been in the Adopt A Highway program since 1995 and conducts three cleanups each year - spring, summer and fall. Past Grand Knight Jim Zeck has been the chairman since 2009 and coordinates the council's activities with the Michigan DOT. The council will conduct their 2026 Fall Cleanup on Saturday, September 19.
