40th Anniversary for Council 8274

On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Immaculata Council 8274 in Lakeport, celebrated their 40th Anniversary. The Council was Chartered on January 12, 1983.
The evening began with Council Chaplain Fr. Lee Acervo celebrating Mass at St. Edward on the Lake Church. At the end of Mass, Fr. Acervo invited all in attendance to the Anniversary celebration in the parish hall. Many council members attended the event.
Charter Members attending the celebration were PGK Gerry McCarthy, Terry Krueger and Melvin Vermeesch. Additional Past Grand Knights in attendance were Chris Rudy, Taylor Lepke, Mike Warfal and Jac Armstrong FDD.
Grand Knight Bob Furtado served as Master of Ceremonies and introduced PSD Thomas Clark, FVSM who was the Founding State Deputy in 1983, Lady Sara Clark, DD David Kelley III, Lady Megan Kelley, State Deputy Regional Representative Paul Thorn and Lady Sue Thorn.
