Pope St. John XXIII Council #5436 (Waterford, MI) donated $200 for the entry fee towards a program that makes the Woodward Dream Cruise accessible to persons with Intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Brother Patrick Allsteadt participated in the the 11th Annual “Dreams Come True on Woodward Avenue” program; that is Patrick's Camaro in the pictures. With the KofC logo on his car, he provided two young men, Ben and Ethan, a ride on this famous thoroughfare!

Howard Lehti, a beloved member of Council 14586, was passionate about serving the Allendale and Grand Valley State community through various charitable efforts.  In honor of his memory, the proceeds from the golf outing will be used to fund multiple student scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded to students who have shown outstanding academic achievement and have demonstrated service and leadership in their community and Catholic faith.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must either be parishioners of 2St. Luke University Parish or Catholic students attending Grand Valley State University. We believe in supporting our local community and helping students achieve their educational goals.

The golf outing will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, with a shotgun start at 9 AM EST at the beautiful Gracewil Country Club in Grand Rapids, MI. The outing will consist of an exciting 18-hole 4-person scramble golf tournament. The cost to participate is $80 per golfer, with a special student discount of $40. This fee includes the 18-hole scramble golf, a golf cart, and a delicious lunch. Open to friends and families!

If you are interested in participating in the golf outing or sponsoring a hole, please register using the link provided. The sign-up deadline is September 12th, so make sure to secure your spot soon. Hope to see you there!
