Au Lac Council 10724 Youth of the Month - Henry Plegue

Congratulations to Henry Plegue for being named the Au Lac Council 10724 Youth of the Month for September 2026! Henry is the son of Scot and Amanda Plegue. He is a sophomore at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Marine City where he was recognized as an Outstanding Freshman by the National Honors Society and he plays Varsity soccer, basketball and baseball.
Henry has helped with several events at Immaculate Conception parish including the council's Adopt A Highway Cleanup and Pancake Breakfasts, parish Lenten Fish Fries, and the Summer Festival games tent. We thank Henry for sharing his faith through service to his parish, school and community!
Au Lac Council 10724 in Ira Township started the Youth of the Month program in January 2023 to recognize students in grades 3-12 for demonstrating their faith through service to others. Since then we have recognized 45 students by presenting a certificate of appreciation following a weekend Mass with the Grand Knight and Pastor in attendance. Every six months our council hosts a pizza dinner for the winners and their families. Our young people are the future of our church and we want to encourage them to continue living their faith every day.
