My brother Knights and Ladies,

On this eve of the new fraternal year, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for all you have done for the Michigan jurisdiction these past two years.  The cooperation and hard work by the hundreds of volunteers, the thousands of miles traveled across the state, and the countless hours of meetings, phone calls, and activities in faith and programs, has produced so much goodness that Blessed McGivney surely must be proud.  I sure am!  Additionally, the concern, compassion and cooperation you have shared personally with me and Lady Mandy has been a beautiful expression of true fraternity.  We have been inspired and encouraged by many lovely cards, letters and emails over the last couple years.  We are blessed to know so many GOOD people.

Thanks to my fellow state officers for sticking with me through our challenges as each of you fulfilled your unique roles and continue to dedicate yourselves to the future leadership of Michigan.  I give my wholehearted endorsement and support to our new state board and the new/revised cast of leadership that will be installed this weekend.  I will continue to contribute as best I can in my new role as Immediate Past State Deputy.  May God continue to bless us with the opportunity to do His will through our involvement in the Knights of Columbus.

With deepest gratitude,

Barry Borsenik
Immediate Past State Deputy
